Caustic Soda has the molecular formula NaOH and is highly caustic metallic base and alkali salt. It is a while solid available in pellets, flakes, granules, and as a 50%, saturated solution.
Caustic Soda is used in chemical pulping, tissue digestion, dissolving amphoteric metals and compounds, esterification and transesterification reagent, food preparation and as a cleaning agent.
